When this developer, u/Throwaway59724, was hired as an "IT Specialist" for a law firm he immediately realized that his job was not going to take him 8 hours a day or 40 hours a week. Then, when he was faced with the opportunity to work from home, he took his chance and found a way to automate his tasks.
Now he works from home for maybe 10 minutes a day. He says the hardest part of his job is "Performing rigorous maintenance, like restarting [his] PC."
Safe to say this guy is living the dream and has found a way to hack society. He's winning the game along with this worker who negotiated better terms after being stuck working 90+ hour weeks.
