Does taking things extremely literally make us seem smart? Maybe in the right company. Some people can't handle the technical truth. They say it's "confusing" and "the dumbest thing they've ever seen." What they fail to understand is that it takes the right kind of dumb to seem clever. Most of us can enjoy highly literal moments of technical accuracy.
