Seriously, this senior dev's wildly clueless CEO sounds like a real life version of Michael Scott from "The Office." Anyone who has ever worked beneath a manager/boss who never should've been put in the position of power that they found themselves in in the first place knows that weathering that existence can be nothing short of a soul-grinding affair. If this tech support tale of two idiots got you going check out another tech support tale about Karen demanding access to a product that a company didn't sell, and then the tech support fiasco that ensued.
