It really sounds like the jellyfish museum was trying to help this woman out, but for whatever reason she decided to adopt quite the stubborn rule-breaking attitude. Naturally, this attitude results in her acquiring the very painful jellyfish sting that she was warned about. And then she proceeds to want to sue the museum. This call for a suing gave way to her being labelled a Karen. So, the question here is whether or not the person who called the Aunt a "Karen" was in the wrong. Folks in the comments section seem to be in agreement that this wasn't so out of line. Of course, nobody likes being labelled a Karen. The thing about it is, when you live down to the stereotype, being labelled a Karen shouldn't be such a wildly unexpected turn of events.
