We're not sure what compels someone to insist on wearing a white dress to a wedding that they're attending as a guest. It oftentimes reads like a blatant disregard for the actual bride's big day. Honestly, good on the husband in this scenario for shutting his wife down when it came to the reckless white dress idea. Naturally, someone who is already lost is going to fall into the defensive when they're called out for their insensitive behavior.
