Sys admins have to put up with all kinds of unnecessary nonsense while on the job. It could be a panicked mom who washed her kid's computer and then didn't understand why it didn't work. Or perhaps, something more outright absurd like what we have here. The dude's Karen coworker spilled a whole ton of water all over some power outlets, and then "didn't understand" how that would manifest in the power being cut out in her work station. Was she just too embarrassed to own up to the truth, or what? That seems like the most believable possibility.
