Man oh man, some of the world's managers really never should've been put in the positions of power that they were in the first place. It sounds like Jeff was possessed by blind greed to such an extent that it was only a matter of time before he ended up engineering his own demise. I wonder how many moments Jeff had where he was up late at night, tossing and turning, soaked in sweat, bogged down by the burn of regret. It's like, he was the one who ultimately ended up complicating his own life.
