Choosing Beggar Leaves Fake Bad Review, Restaurant Owner Responds

People that take the time and energy to leave fake bad reviews are the absolute worst. Just picturing someone putting in the extra effort to try and make someone else's life more miserable can get the blood boiling. Fortunately, this restaurant owner handled the situation in glorious fashion.

1.

Text - Hi L an here, one of the an We appreciate that you have taken the time to leave this review of your experience in the Bull yesterday but we would like to point out a few issues with your critique of your experience that you conveniently omitted from owners of the your review.

2.

Text - I was here myself All day yesterday but didn't serve you personally, although I did discuss your table with the staff involved after you had left.( We'll come back to this Later) We do take all customer feedback seriously and after I saw your comment this morning here, I decided to review the cctv so I could be absolutely sure about everything, especially the timings.

3.

Text - Firstly, it was Caoimhe our floor manager who brought you to your table upon your arrival. She welcomed you and explained our daily specials and took your drinks order- a Diet Coke and two 7 ups. These were delivered to your table 2 minutes and 37 seconds later. She returned 3 minutes and 31 seconds later and took your food orders of one medium steak sandwich, with extra onion rings and two roast beef.

4.

Text - Regarding your food, the medium cooked steak sandwich you requested was prepared on the grill (to order) and served to you when ready. 14 minutes 45 seconds later Alex our waiter, delivered your food and asked you is everything okay. You replied yes and mentioned you had ordered extra onion rings and would like another diet Coke as well.. The onion rings arrived 3 minutes and 17 seconds later followed by your second Diet Coke 4 minutes and 37 seconds.( granted it took a little longer than

5.

Text - Alex then asked you again was everything okay and you all nodded unable to speak as you were all eagerly enjoying your food. When Alex approached you to clear your table he asked you was everything okay, and you raised the issue that the steak sandwich was cold and the beef was too fatty . He was confused as all the food was eaten and the plates were total clear except for the mash on the Childs plate. He asked you why you didn't tell him this when he had re- checked your table and your r

6.

Text - pointed out that you had eaten everything and had he know, he would've tried to solve any issues. You mumbled about it being "freezing" and this added to his confusion. At this point I should tell you something about Alex. He is a professionally trained waiter who has studied hospitality for four years in

7.

Text - Basically he really enjoys his job and what he does to the point where it bothers him if things aren't right. (I do like Alex for this) Alex explained to you that he finds it rather hard to understand as he watched the chef taking the steak off the grill before plating it up for you immediately. Alex then left and reported this to Caoimhe who went down to talk to you about your issues.

8.

Text - After some similar discussions Caoimhe decided to offer you free desserts and coffees on the house, as we always try to keep our customers happy. Once this was mentioned the attitude changed and she felt you and the rest of the guests on the table were satisfied. You left smiling and thanked Caoimhe for being so nice.

9.

Text - It was a little after this that I was informed what had happened. You see informed what had happened. You see Alex and Caoimhe were having a heated discussion about whether it was a genuine complaint or if some people just wanted free food. After some discussions we all went back to work and I was left wondering the finer details. It probably would've stayed there until I saw this thread this morning. That's when I decided to review some CCTV to see everything for myself.

10.

Text - As many people here have said social media can be good and bad. We are all very quick to talk about the bad things and not so much about the positive things which is a shame. We firmly believe in the Bull that mistakes happen but on this occasion Linda, its just not the case.

11.

Text - We are a small family run business and do our best to get things right, and sometimes we can all have a bad day. But I was very proud of Caoimhe and Alex yesterday (before I review the CCTV) just because they cared so much. I personally pride myself on the team that we have here at the moment, considering how difficult it can be to get talented people into the hospitality Industry.

12.

Text - I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Caoimhe and Alex for always doing their best whether it's having the craic with customers or dealing with a difficult situation. And I must say, Thank you to everyone for your support and all the positive comments
