Bungee Jumping Bagpiper Is Extreme Example of Doppler Effect

If a source of noise is traveling away from you rapidly, the sound waves emitted will be further apart, causing the pitch to sound lower from your perspective. Then when it travels toward you, the sound waves will be bunched closer together and that same sound will be heard at a higher pitch. Also, if the source of that noise is bagpipes, that same noise source will also likely be wearing a kilt.
