This girl suffered through a terrible and abusive relationship with some jerk who got off on inflicting pain and emotionally abusing his partner. Well, the idiot ended up getting dealt a swift blow of karma years later, after he asked her to speak up as a character reference for him, to The Marines. What was the moron thinking on that? Either way, sounds like he was rejected, and went on to hold down a gig at McDonald's.
