Seems like an effective way for a kid to end a toxic friendship and get out of punishment Scott free. We weren't this malevolently spiteful or resourceful as kids. When we were 9 we were too busy figuring out if hitting each other with sticks was a good use of free time. For a story of classier dad revenge, check this out.
