Sarah Silverman took it upon herself to sideline the usual sass, and engage with a would-be Twitter troll who was clearly having a rough go of it. The ensuing conversation was both touching and encouraging. Maybe 2017 won't be a year marked by a sobering number of dumpster fires after all.
