Operating Errors Achieved By People Who Shouldn't Be Driving Anything

Maybe, just maybe, it wasn't the best idea to let these people be solely responsible for a motorized object. You know? Maybe, just maybe, we should have some types for licensing systems in place to keep things like this from happening.

Nothing like having an idiot behind the wheel of a 2-ton hunk of metal that is being propelled by thousands of tiny explosions and screaming along at 100 mph.

New Director Wants Meetings First Thing in the Morning, Doesn't Listen to Line Manager and Delays Production

When you're a new manager in a team, no matter what size, it's always best to spend a given length of time observing before making changes. That length of time can vary wildly depending on the complexity and scale of the operation but, at the very least, it's best to give it a few weeks.

It gives you time to learn from experienced employees (who definitely know more than you do) and can keep you from making too many significant mistakes.

Kudos to this line manager for just going with it when outvoted and thereby proving her point and showing the new director that she knew better.

Entitled Brother Thinks His Kid Is the Exception to a “Child-Free” Wedding Invite

There's nothing worse than someone who thinks that they are the exception to every rule. If anyone has siblings like this or families who enable this type of behaviour then you have my sympathies. This type of behaviour is only possible when the people around them allow it to persist.

Paul sounds like he is a right piece of work and him and his wife, possibly the entire family, are entirely delusional. It is completely out of expectation to think that you would be the only exception for a child-free invitation. Time for a reality check. If there's one thing for certain it's that weddings bring out the family drama.

Simple Questions That Reveal A Lot About People

Asking questions is how we get to know each other, and some totally innocuous questions have a way of revealing more about people than you'd think. Sometimes they're good for revealing red flags during job interviews or getting to the bottom of an awkward and bad first date. Also, definitely make sure anyone in your social circle is on the right side of the shopping cart theory of morality.

Entitled Neighbor Refuses To Move Car, Righteous Towing Ensues

This isn't the first time we've encountered an entitled neighbor who refused to move their car out of a spot that it never should've been in. Honestly, we doubt it'll be the last time. You just never know if you're going to end up living next to a wildly unreasonable, and grossly entitled neighbor who refuses to play nice and get along. If this tale of petty revenge on a nasty neighbor got you going, check out another recent petty revenge story we ran about some nasty neighbors that vanquished a man's tomatoes, so he unleashed an ants army

Entitled People With Their Childish Demands

Nothing stirs the blood and busts out a wicked riff on the heartstrings quite like people who make insane demands of people while displaying absolutely no self reflection. Entitled people and their absurd audacity will grift strangers, talk mad trash and do it all as if they're still in the right. It's kind of incredible.

Guy Gets Savage Revenge on Cheating Ex-Girlfriend With Soul-Crushing Prank, Destroys Her New Relationship

This guy made his cheating ex-girlfriend and her new lover question their entire reality with the psychological warfare that he waged upon them. Imagine being so psyched out by these random noises that you're hearing that you start to wonder about your own sanity. I can only imagine it's like when your smoke detector gets a low battery and starts "chirping" in the middle of the night at maddening intervals that would be enough to make a captured spy give up everything they knew.

This has to be one of the most intense revenge stories of the year and is an absolute goldie of a read.

People's Worst Nightmare Neighbor Conflict Stories

You just never know who you might end up living next to. Moving into a new place is a stressful enough process as it is, but when you factor in the distinct possibility that you could end up living next to a monster who literally makes a mission out of destroying your garden's tomatoes, or being as loud as possible despite your complaints....the stress sweats can start. This AskReddit thread has people sharing the very worst of their nightmare neighbor conflict stories.

Tumblr Goes Mythological Scientist Mode On Dragons

Just in case you didn't know, this enlightening Tumblr thread is here to fill you in on why a flamethrower is by no means a precision weapon. Also, apparently dragons rock eyes on the sides of their heads because they place more value on their field of view than they do on their depth perception. Twitter Thread: Distinguished Felines Cosplay Lord Of The Rings

Only the most distinguished of all felines could even attempt to live up to the tremendous roles of Frodo and Sam, two dynamite characters from one of our all time favorite series, Lord of The Rings. As you will see when you momentarily scroll down, this is cosplay done right! Done with class, done with the utmost respect and appreciation for the original masterpiece.

We love getting creative with our cats, they don't always love it back, but we have a good time. These hungry hobbits have not been fed second lunch yet, we recommend steering clear of them and sneakily filling up their bowls so they don't even have a chance to meow in discomfort. More silly cat cosplay twitter threads like this one, please!

Insane Neighbor Karen Leaves Note That Festive Gargoyle Decoration is "Not Appropriate", Revenge Ensues

The Legendary battle of Frank the Christmas Gargoyle and the neighborhood Karen. A tale that will pass on into Christmas tradition.

This neighborhood Karen forgot the true meaning of Christmas when she waged war upon the unsuspecting forces of the Christmas Gargoyle and Hippopotamus. Little did she know that a little Christmas miracle would bring cheer to all and ultimately lead her to have a change of heart in the face of true Christmas spirit and human kindness.

They didn't necessarily join hands and sing at the end of this story but joy and laughter were had by all. Except for Karen.

The Wildest Junk People Saw Other Drivers Do While Driving

For some reason, a lot of people see driving as a secondary activity to eating a bowl of Chex or doing their hair. Here are some of the irresponsible and straight up absurd junk truckers and other drivers have spotted their fellow drivers doing behind the wheel. It's as if their windshield is just a tv screen to them or something. So watch out for these morons and other incompetent drivers who should be banned from the road.

Entitled Wife Threatens to Show Up In Sweatpants to Thwart In-Laws Christmas Dress Code

If this is all you have to worry about then you must be doing pretty good. It just seems like such an odd hill to die on. Dressing up for Christmas Day is a pretty normal tradition as far as these things go. It sounds like this daughter-in-law just wants to make her mother-in-law's life more needlessly difficult.

No wonder they don't like her all that much.

For more wonderfully entitled marriage entitlement check out this guy who thought it was a good idea to buy a PS5 with his wife's emergency fund. Yeah. He's getting coal in his stocking for sure.

UNhinGED huSbAND wAtcheS as BiRd dEStroys wiFe's MeaL, RECorDS Entire EveNt

In bird culture, this is considered to be a dick move...

I just cannot possibly understand how this wife is able to put up with her husband's entitled, immature antics. It's no wonder that she hasn't finalized the divorce papers already.

She's probably cheating on him with the bird... as commenters have already suggested.

This is truly tragic. Read on at your own risk.

On a completely unrelated note. Check out these wholesome memes.

Spelling Fails That Had Us Shaking In Our Boats

It's not like we expect everyone to have a doctorate in English. At the same time there are waaaaay too many people out there saying how they love the smell of their boyfriend's new colon, or that they're trying to get into essential oils and incest. All we're saying is that knowing your way around a word or two can prevent awkward moments such as these spelling fails that gave words a hard time.

Husband Delaying Wife's Day By Playing Games on Phone in Bathroom, Gets Banished

This guy just sounds like he could use a hearty dose of fiber. That or a shot of espresso before going into the restroom to camp out for an hour.

At any rate... He is definitely the a-hole in this situation. There is no reason that he can't go camp out in the other bathroom instead. As some commenters have suggested it would be as simple as getting a portable heater and putting it on a timer to go off 30 minutes before he gets up. Then he can still be warm and do whatever it is that he is doing in there in peace.

Sounds like the wife has tried to be pretty reasonable here.

Absurd Couple Gets Offended When Their Friends Order Food to Take Home at a Restaurant

Surely there must be something missing from this story. What an absolutely absurd reaction.

When u/tatatertotter ordered food to take home to their children, as they had done hundreds of times before, their friend's took major offense and later told a mutual friend that they thought u/tatatertotter's actions were trashy.

I can't imagine this possibly being an issue unless it held up proceedings of the evening for everyone else.

What's your take?

Dingbat Boyfriend Insists on Eating Peanuts Despite His Girlfriend's Serious Allergy, Won't Listen to Her

This idiot is an absolute nutcase. Imagine valuing a nut over your partner's life.

This guy is being completely disrespectful and unreasonable. Especially since her request extends, at this point, only to her own space. It is a massive red flag that he can't respect her space and medical requirements this early on in the relationship. Time to send him and his peanuts packing.

I wonder if he's the same guy as the guy who sent his Tinder date to the emergency room after accidentally triggering her peanut allergy.

Is this their relationship evolving after-all? Have they found true love?

Dude Organizes Beef Wellington Dinner, Guests Demand It Be Cooked Well Done

If Gordon Ramsay found out about this, there would be no one from this story left alive. It's one thing to have some dietary restriction that excludes you from eating what everyone else eats, but to have the audacity to ruin the whole meal that someone put effort into bringing together? That's just not the way things are done. If she really wants to come, she can have hers microwaved. For some more food drama, here's the vegan employee who requested a coworker eat their burger outside.

Signs The Robot Vacuums Aren't Taking Over Soon

If anyone was worried that the rise of smart vacuums would mean that in 20 short years an uber-sentient race of machines would return the favor by making you suck up dust with your mouth for a living... maybe add an extra 20 years to your countdown. For the time being we can rub in our human superiority by making roombas get beers for us.

Insane Karen Coworker Harasses Woman Who’s Son Has Just Died, Gets Fired Just Before Christmas

The Karen of this story (Liz) sounds like an absolutely perfect example of a Karen. She comes across, in this story, as being extremely self-centered and entitled. I honestly can't imagine how she managed to get along issue-free in this workplace for so long. By the ease at which she was fired... It sounds like there must have been some previous history there.

Adios Karen! Merry Christmas!

Coffee Memes For People Who Barely Know What Day It Is

We don't like the idea of being "don't talk to me before I've had my coffee" people. Office-style coffee humor usually sucks. It's also depressing to admit that we need stimulants to have even a semblance of well-being on any given morning. So rather than a wink and a nod and a 20 dollar mug that has an inverse graph of happiness vs coffee drank or whatever, we'd just like to say: "this is not normal, we're sorry, and please don't talk to me until I've had my coffee." Now here are some work memes.

Insane Woman Dates Sister’s Cheating Ex-Husband, Wants to Bring Him On Their Family Vacation, Doesn't See the Issue

Honestly, how does she think that this is ok behavior? By the way she has written her posts it is very clear that she sees nothing wrong with her actions and for some reason just can't possibly fathom why her family has excluded her from Thanksgiving and is slowly cutting her out of their lives.

The OP, u/Psychological Bid58, has made multiple posts regarding her relationship with her sister's ex-husband (and the father of her children). This guy cheated on her sister when she was at home with their new baby and for some reason, he seems to be prime dating material. The first post is the most recent AITA post about their family vacation. The second is a recovered deleted AITA post. The third a r/relationship advice post she posted about her relationship with this guy.

Things from People's Childhoods They Later Realized Were Weird

Everybody's family is a little weird in some way, but as a kid, you don't know any better. This leads to most of us having an awkward moment later on with friends, a scene along the lines of "hold on, not everyone's family has one day of the month where their dad eats as many cans of tuna as possible and then comes over and breathes on everyone?" or "wait a second, my mom always told me the blue parking spaces up front were for people in the very busy mom club?" Life is full of discovery. At least it's a little better than people later realizing something was illegal.

Tattoos That Transformed Scars And Birthmarks Into Works Of Art

People get self conscious about surgery scars and birthmarks. That's just a reality of being human. But another reality of being human is that people really like clever tattoos, which have the potential to turn every scar, blemish and mark into an opportunity for a wonderful moment of artistry. Here are some more tattoos that turned scars into works of art.

Teacher Flips The Script on Frustrating Administration

It's not every day that you get to use your boss's rules against them. There's something so wonderfully satisfying about when an unfair employer has to face their own music. Not every organization gets to feel the sting of their own unfairness. This job applicant got to call out a company's dumb interview process.

People's "Oh, That's How That Works" Moments

Every one of us will have a time in our life when we realize something too late. It may have been super obvious all along, or it may have taken some thinking. Either way, that satisfying  "aha!" moment feels the same. For dumber realizations, here are really obvious things people realized way too late.

Lingering Customer Can't Use Facilities After Close, Throws Tantrum

Closing time can be a dodgy period for employees. This lady brought her tea from home so it's unclear if she was even a real customer, but expecting to just stay as long as you want when all the employees should be off work anyway? What a way to live your life. Too many customers don't seem to get that closed means closed, like this entitled customer who expects a place to stay open late but can't handle rejection.

Absurd Times People and Things Were Singled Out

We live in an unfair world, but one of the great levelers is the belief that at some point in time, everyone is going to have a bad day. It's a lot harder to believe that when people and things get singled out so unfairlythat reality becomes absurd. It seems like sometimes people and things get singled outto the point that it seems comically impossible for them to catch a break.

Employees Get Bamboozled by Chicken Lady

It's no question that employees are wary of customers. Most customers are fine, but the few who love to put retail workers in precarious positions are the kind of folks who will never be forgotten. For one that ended with more justice, here's a lying Karen that got decimated by the owner's response.
