Oblivious Customer Repeatedly Asks For "Missing " USB Dongle, It's Always Been There

Tech support really has their work cut out for them. Far too many people in this mad world seemingly turn their brains off when it comes to employing minimal levels of common sense to navigate various aspects of the world of technology. In this case, we don't even know where to start. The fact that this customer repeatedly vocalized concerns over their package missing a key ingredient -- the dongle -- and never considered the possibility that an unopened package would most definitely have it.... is pretty unreal. Keep the IT content going with this collection of relatable IT memes for the technologically minded.

Tumblr Thread: Millennials And Boomers Clash Over Home Repairs

Sometimes the best move really is to leave the heavy lifting and meticulous repairing of various problems around the home, to the professionals. They've gone through all that training for a reason. When anyone ends up letting their pride get the best of them, completely avoidable injuries can tend to occur. On top of that, you might just end up making that problem in your home that much worse. Check out some more funny Tumblr gems to stifle the brooding darkness over here.

Woman's Estranged Brother Decides To Get Married On Her Wedding Day, She Refuses To Move Wedding

The wedding drama is endless. This time around we have quite the circus act. It sounds like this woman's estranged brother came out of the woodwork, and decided to get married on the same day that she planned to tie the knot. When she refused to change her wedding date, her family pitched a bit of a fit. So, she decided to consult the moral judges of Reddit's AITA community to see whether or not she was in the wrong for not changing her wedding. You might be able to imagine what people had to say about the whole thing. Check out some more wedding drama with this AskReddit thread about the worst wedding foods that people have ever seen.

Is it Bad to Favor One Niece or Nephew Over the Others? This Aunt Does

When I was a kid I honestly thought that all adults were emotionless impartial observers over the actions of children. That, one day, I too would reach the point of emotionlessness impartiality and be a judicial beacon of equality.

Unfortunately, that dream never actualized, and I still find myself an emotional being. Locked eternally into the dramatic flaws and flows that come with being human. I have also, in consequence, realized that the adults in my life were equally non-impartial and were picking and choosing favorites all the while.

It's a pretty tough realization to make. That those you loved may have had favorites. And that you might not have been one of them.

Choosy Beggar Bids More Than They Can Afford, Gets Upset When Rejected

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like this wild world's going to run out of choosy beggars that are ready to waste our precious time, anytime soon. This choosy beggar has the audacity to bid more than they can afford, and then get upset when someone else who actually follows through on their bid, takes home the product. It's like, enough is enough. Check out some more entitled people that decided to make the world a miserable place, over here.

Conflict Grows Between Sisters When the Elder Can't Pay For Her Sister's Grad School

This older sister has probably gone above and beyond in her service to her sister as a replacement for their parents. She has done things for her that some parents might even not do and that is something that she should be proud of. It is probably a little bit entitled of her sister to thing that she would continue to pay for her grad school for her when that is something that most parents do not do. But we can also understand that if the older sister is making THAT much money... then perhaps she could continue to pay.

Internet Weighs In On Sleep-Deprived Neighbor's Response To Loud "Nighttime Activities"

On the one hand, it's childish to needlessly embarrass people for the things they do in the privacy of their own home. On the other hand, shattering noise ordinances to the point that their "private" sounds become a part of your home, especially when you have work in the morning, is a relatable situation that would make anyone angry. The internet judged this person's prank-like response to his very loud sex-having neighbors. For a seriously maligned neighbor, here's the entitled neighbor dad who tried to usurp a driveway and had his car towed.

Guy Gets Himself In Trouble With HR at Work For Use of An Old Commercial "Jingle"

This guy probably should have seen this coming. Maybe we're just not part of the same generation but it's easy for me to see here where this was misinterpreted by the target of the comment. It's really easy for some misattributed reference to go afoul in environments like the workplace. A kudos all around is probably needed here for the way that everyone handles this situation. The girl sticks up for herself when she believes herself to be a target of harassment. HR follows through in a positive manner and then backs off once the guy is able to explain his actions in a rational (and non-abusive) way.

All these things line up for a good ol' fashioned gaffe.

People Share Features That Instantly Make Men Less Attractive

For most dudes, these should just be a reminder of how low the bar actually is, which in turn makes us almost all of us look better. In general, if you can make a complete sentence, talk to a server without using slurs and bathe regularly, you're doing a good job, so keep doing you. None of us want to become people's worst first date stories, but all we can do is minimize the possibility by being decent. For some more horror shows, here arered flags people missed in past relationships.

Mom Confiscates Son's Gameboy as Punishment and Hides it.... For 18 Years

I feel like every family must have a story like this. If I had had it my way I would have been glued to my gameboy 24/7 when I was a wee lad. Obviously that made it a very suitable target for punishment when my grades slipped or I otherwise acted out.

Mom would take my Gameboy and hide it away in a cupboard or up on top of the fridge. I was able to reach this easily and would sneak it down for a few minutes of game time when she was distracted. The arms race evolved and Mom started hiding it in places I wouldn't guess rather than couldn't reach, as this mother did. This inevitably led to some occasions where Mom couldn't remember where she had put it. 18 years, however, is a whole new length of time.

As far as parenting goes, there's a whole lot of crazy stuff that people do. This is definitely more tame and harmless (although possibly still traumatising) than other parenting gaffs.

Woman Outwits Karen The Building Manager With Greenhouse Workaround

This isn't the first time that we've encountered a tale centered on the nasty antics of a maniacal building manager, and we certainly doubt that it'll be the last time. In this case, it sounds like this narcissistic building manager was just looking for a way to assert their authority right off the bat. Unfortunately, the way that this Karen decided to assert her authority was completely uncalled for. The good news is that the tenant was more than ready to devise an ingenious way to work around Karen's BS.

University Student Gives it Straight to Her Professor and Tells Him He's Delivering Bad Service to His Customers

If I could go back and tell this to some of the over-puffed windbags that I had for professors in university. The tenured a-holes who didn't give a care in the world whether or not you learned anything in their class or not. Nothing like landing massive student loan debt only to be stuck in a lecture hall listening to someone who doesn't want to do their job.

Don't get me wrong... I think this chick probably needs an attitude adjustment too. She sounds like she is all kinds of entitled as well. But, she has a point, and a good one at that. Paying tuition to have to listen to some of these jerk-wads just doesn't cut it. Ya know?

Relatable IT Memes For The Technologically Minded

If not for IT and tech support, we'd all be living in dirt, banging a stick with a rock in an attempt to get it to run MS Paint. We wouldn't have memes. We would just have to walk up to people and say "my face when" and use our actual faces to express feelings, like filthy animals. So here are some tech memes for the computer fiends. For a fun tech support story, here's the time a tech support employee caught a helpdesk scammer.

Woman Gets Brutal With Her Ex and Credits His Success to Nepotism

This girl went for the jugular on this one. Even if someone is successful because they have benefited from their families wealth and social status there still is a lot that goes into continuing to find success on your own. Sure it gives you an advantage but there is inevitably more to it than that.

While we'd tend to agree with her on some of her points, she was obviously just trying to cause hurt to her ex which kinda makes her the jerk in this situation. What do you think?

Mom Yells At Son For Staying Home And Playing COD, Cringe Ensues

This transcends the realm of being funny. Honestly, it's just kind of embarrassing. Yet, sometimes you just need to sit back and let the cringe ride. The cringe can bring you back, and deepen your appreciation for how ridiculous human beings can be.

The Largest and Heaviest Metal Forge in the World

Did you plan on watching the largest and heaviest metal forge in the world go to work today? Probably not. Yet, here you are. It's strangely mesmerizing. Enjoy.

Things People Did Once And Will Never Do Again

There are a few reasons to do something once. Maybe it was an amazing experience. Maybe it was hard, or painful, or there was only one opportunity for you to do that thing. Or maybe it was so stupid that the consequences of your actions were just too much to bare. Life is full of opportunities, and some of those opportunities, like hiking in the jungle or frying bacon naked are things that are best only indulged in once, or not at all.

Guy Secretly Trains Roommate To Not Respond To Morning Alarms

There are far too many of us that have ended up having to deal with terribly frustrating roommates that can't be bothered to be considerate and generally mindful of sharing the same living space. It sounds like this dude had to deal with quite the monstrously clueless human being. The fact that his roommate wanted to have a date over for the night, while they shared the same room is just a bit of a red flag. So, when he hit his breaking point, he decided to enact a calculated revenge that involved training his roommate to not respond to his morning alarms. Pretty brilliant. Kind of twisted. For some more roommate drama, check out this pro revenge story about a roommate who thought she was sneaky, and ended up owing $400.

People's Best Sophisticated Insults

We definitely have a deep appreciation for the rare insults here. The comments sections and social media feeds have long since hosted fine displays of banter, and people generally getting into it over the most trivial of matters. With that being said, it's always nice to see someone go above and beyond with the insults that they choose to dispense. This fun AskReddit thread has people dishing out their most polished sophisticated insults. You might end up adding some of these to your arsenal.

Customer Rejects Art, Demands It Be Redrawn, Gets Kindly Asked To Pound Sand

Being wishy-washy is bad enough, but when you go back on a deal and demand someone redo a job for less money, those are grounds for some unkind words between parties. Being an artist is a hard enough gig without people outright rejecting the work they specificaly asked you to do. For some extra frustration and mind-boggling decision-making, here are some entitled people and their fantastically bold moves.

Husband Can't Accept Wife's Use Of Candles, Drama Ensues

There are some things in this life that are worth fighting for. When it comes to the matter of fake candles though, this ain't it, man. Yet, as it goes in this crazy life... some people need the reality checks more than others. Clearly, this guy fits the bill for that.

Food Memes To Fill The Hole In Our Hungry Lives

Food is pretty great. And we live in one of the best food times in human history. Never before has a single human had such unfettered access to this much explosive nacho cheese flavor, and frankly that's a beautiful thing. These food memes may satiate our deep hunger for laughter, but also, our thirst for cheese sauce grows. It grows mightily.

Incompetent Manger Insists On Doing Job Wrong, Crashes And Burns

There are mean bosses. There are stupid bosses. But some of the most frustrating bosses to work under are the bosses who don't know how to do their job. There's nothing quite like being behind schedule just because your boss is insisting that you do your job inefficiently and improperly, especially when they can't accept that the reason things are going wrong is because of their insistence. For some incredible management overreach, here's the Walmart manager who fired a guy from a job that wasn't his.

Man Discovers Dora The Explorer-Themed Gangster Car, Emotional Rollercoaster Ensues

You better believe that a Dora the Explorer-themed car is going to go on an adventure. In this case though, there were bullet holes in the car. Like, what compels someone to fire off on a Dora the Explorer-themed car? Purely ludicrous. If you want to keep the Tumblr gems going, check out this Tumblr post about a vegan girl who gets served a real burger, and then the educational Tumblr thread that ensued.

Obvious Scams That People Still Fall For

Unfortunately, there are far too many scams out there that people fall victim to. The reality is that there are just some people that are committed to taking advantage of others. If anything, the hope here is that this kind of AskReddit thread serves an educational purpose and helps steer you clear of any obvious scams that you otherwise might fall prey to.

Twitter Thread: People That Quit Their Jobs With No Notice

Everyone has their breaking point. There's only so much that you can put up with on a daily basis. The paycheck only accounts for so much of that nonsense. This Twitter thread pays homage to people that decided enough was enough, and proceeded to quit their jobs with no notice. You can only imagine what kinds of responses ensued.

Guy Gives the Hard Truth to His Hypocritical Fiancé When He Teaches Her About Mutual Tolerance

Man, people are tough. You know?

It's crazy how you can love someone so deeply despite being confronted with their glaringly obvious flaws. In some funny way, those things can actually make you more attracted to them and love them even more.

Sometimes those things are a huge red flag and a huge turnoff and they might not come up until years into a relationship. Only emerging when some particularly unique situation coaxes it out of the depths of their personality.

It's one of the crazy things about any sort of relationship. It's easy to fool yourself into the false security of the fact that everyone else thinks and views the world as you do. It's almost like the default setting our brain goes into when dealing with other people. In reality, it couldn't be further from the truth.

Groom's Brother-In-Law Hands Out Wedding Invitations At His Wedding, Gets Told To Leave

Of all the stunts that you can pull at someone else's wedding this right here, ranks as one of the lowest of the low moves to make. Seriously, the level of cluelessness that's running amok in this scenario pretty much escapes all rhyme and reason. The fact that this groom got a hard time from the in-laws over his decision to ask the brother-in-law to leave after his wildly inappropriate stunt is another sloppy layer of dysfunctional in this disastrous mess of a situation.
