And with the resounding deflating sound of a "yeah sure that'll do" a design fail is born. It's good that people build first and think later, or else there wouldn't be so many design fails that were someone's one job. Where would we be without prime fails from people not doing their jobs correctly? Well, probably in a more efficient and effective world; but it wouldn't be quite as much fun.

@JurassicPark2go might be our new favorite Twitter account. They put fun, modern, absurd spins on the Jurassic Park universe with hilarious tweets. For instance, the dinosaurs have unionized. They've also acquired a case of Four Loko. Can't even begin to imagine what kind of turmoil would ensue from that kind of development. A saucy, over-caffeinated dinosaur sounds like a recipe for destruction.

Sometimes it would take too much effort to do something the right way, so we resort to stunningly unprofessional "not my job" moments. We can't say we're proud of them, but boy do they save a whole lot of time. Sometimes it's actually harder to do it wrong. As long as there are annoying bosses and Friday afternoons, we'll have wonderfully incompetent "not my job" moments.
