What a splendid little example of calling someone's bluff. This landlord was completely unhelpful and thought their threat would let them illegally keep their tenant's security deposit. After getting caught lying in court, this tenant had their ex-landlord eating their stupid words. People sometimes win against their landlords, like this guy who got contractual revenge on his landlord or this person who staged a coup d'etat on their terrible landlord.

With just a little bit of strange perspective, the human eye can be confuzzled into making you think you're looking at a giant man, an octopus-dog hybrid, or dangerous cliff when you're really just looking at a dude, some puppies and a tree. It's fun to take your brain for a spin and gander at a pile of double-take-causing illusions of warped perspective.

In this case, it's an innocent book about summer camp that results in all kinds of misinterpreted sentences. Sometimes getting lost in those translations is a fun business. And with the resounding deflating sound of a "yeah sure that'll do" a design fail is born. It's good people build first and think later, or else there wouldn't be so many design fails that were someone's one job. Where would we be without prime fails from people not doing their jobs correctly? Well, probably in a more efficient and effective world; but it wouldn't be quite as much fun.
