This is an example of how a small slip of the touch screen can have big consequences in the meme-verse. You know that feeling though, it feels a lot like the continent of South America.

Author, Kate O'Neill used her platform on Twitter to encourage people participating in online activities like the recent, trending profile picture aging meme on Facebook, to slow down and think about it critically. O'Neill asks people to consider how willingly posting that information online for Facebook's seemingly sentient algorithm to digest, can have a ripple effect on society as a whole; how that information can be fed into worldwide databases, sold off to advertising agencies, and used to exploit the very people that upload it, without considering the impacts, in the process. She doesn't aim to inspire panic in this Twitter thread, but instead, she wants us to think critically when considering the fast-changing landscape of the world around us. Some solid advice!

Bro, do you even swipe? Whatever you're doing with your tinder, you're doing it wrong. This profile might make your heart skip a beat, but it better not skip leg day. We applaud a sense of humor like this on a dating app. Looks like she can pick up just about anyone or anything.

Most wrong numbers end in a very awkward "sorry" or a "you're not my son!" But sometimes, the stars line up just right and some stranger magic happens. Good thing these people didn't pay attention to their dialing, because without their mistake we wouldn't have these wonderful gems right here.

These people charged headlong into moments of self-created danger with fearless stupidity. They were living in a world of their own lofty, sugar-coated delusions when they convinced themselves that sh*t wouldn't hit the fan.

You thought Tinder was about having a clever pick-up line or being rich, handsome or tall? Okay, those might help but also all you need is a good imagination and the ability to write a quick story about a duck. Hopefully this doesn't end in unsolicited duck pics.

Some of these innovative ways to cheat are so complex and time consuming that it might actually be easier to just study. We do not endorse the idea of cheating on exams, but above all else, if we can stress one thing to not do, that'd be getting caught.

You wouldn't believe how long people go without knowing how their favorite figures of speech are actually spelled. Sure, some words are definitely hard to spell, but in the age where you can just google it, things go from zero to idiot in no time.

These interns were definitely playing in a realm outside what was advertised as the internship-job description. But maybe that's the "vulnerability", of being an intern, at shady or seemingly upright places....you're potentially not even a part of the company.

Sometimes kids cut through the wordy BS to say the easily digestible things we need to hear, when we least expect it. These kids would seem to be wise beyond their years. Especially that one kid, with the point about how vegetables can make us feel. SAD.

The population of Tinderers never fails to keep things comfortably on the side of immaturity, spicy witty banter, bold (and/or clueless) pickup lines, and shamelessness. These are all A+ examples. If you need more of what the wild word of Tinder has to offer, look over here.

The best way to deal with those lowballing choosy beggars is to waste their time as much as you can, before they realize what's going on. That, that right there is priceless. So. Behold, all that in action.

Us humans have a knack for willingly throwing ourselves into terribly dangerous situations with heavy weights. To say that these gym rats were tempting fate would almost be a vast understatement.

Jobs don't have to be all bad. Sometimes they keep us just happy enough to willingly lock ourselves into the confines of (potentially soul-sucking) routine with incentives like money, free coffee, and even letting you wear what you want on CASUAL FRIDAY.

Cracked writer Daniel Dockery went to twitter to share the time he tried getting a girl's attention by writing a sequel to her favorite movie. The effort was there, but so were time travel and Star Wars references. Things went about as well as the first Titanic.

Before there was Netflix and Chill, there was Fencing or Frenching. This young woman's ludicrous tale is one hell of a medieval-esque emotional rollercoaster. Apparently you can find the original script that inspired the eventual Twitter thread, over here.

Filmmakers use a lot of unrealistic shortcuts to get their point across as quickly as possible. Some of these shortcuts are so ridiculous and overdone that they end up ruining a viewer's suspension of disbelief. Here are some that seem to be in absolutely everything.
