Sometimes, Context and Phrasing Are Really Important.
So we're just done with phrasing right? That's not a thing anymore?
Sometimes when it comes to comics, context and phrasing are really important. Here's some situations where a lack of context makes for some hilariously inappropriate moments.

Prank of the Day: Christmas Trees Are Going Through the Roof… Sort Of
Want to impress the neighbors or just make them insanely jealous for no reason, then you’ve got to get a big tree, bro.
That’s just what this Twitter user claims to have done. He and his family went out and bought a big tree — too big in fact. The tree didn’t fit in their living room, but that wasn’t their plan. they cut it in half and stuck the second half on the roof, creating the illusion that the tree goes through the roof. It’s a lot easier than raising the roof, right kids? Kids still say that, right? Please tell me they do.
Check this out:
So this year we bought a 20 ft Christmas tree and cut it in half so it goes through the roof 😂 http://pic.twitter.com/ZGIOYmPM59

Step Dad of the Day: Cop Pulls Kid Over and Teaches Him To Tie a Tie
Tying a tie is basically impossible, especially when you need some guy who isn’t your father to help you tie. Just ask this college kid who had the cop that pulled him over teach him how to do it.
When college student Tevor Keeny was pulled over for speeding by Officer Martin Folczyk, he admitted that he didn’t know how to tie a tie, telling Folczyk that he was rushing to a friend’s house because his friend knows how to tie a tie. That’s when the cop arrested him and threw him in jail.
Just kidding, the cop taught him to tie a tie.
Ugh. He’s not even the kid’s real father. What’s next, he’s going to expect to play catch with this kid he pulled over? Is he going to teach him to shave? The cop isn’t even his real father!

Live Tweet of the Day: YouTuber Live Tweets His Racist Removal From a Flight
YouTuber Adam Saleh was allegedly forcefully removed from his Delta flight today for “speaking another language.” He posted a video to twitter of the whole event and then live tweeted it.
We got kicked out of a @Delta airplane because I spoke Arabic to my mom on the phone and with my friend slim... WTFFFFFFFF please spread http://pic.twitter.com/P5dQCE0qos

UPDATE: were now on another flight with a different airline heading to NYC after being checked for 30 minutes. We land 5:50pm in NYC

Thank you all so much for your support!! I appreciate every single one of you!!! Will talk when I land! Love xx
— Adam Saleh (@omgAdamSaleh) December 21, 2016
Saleh, a YouTuber with over 2 million subscribers, uploaded the video twitter where it has been retweeted over 450,000 times. To put that in perspective Donald Trump usually tops out under 170,000 retweets.
Delta released a statement saying that they are investigating.

Making things a little murky is the fact that Saleh was already exposed this week for hoaxing an airport prank, in which he forced himself into a suitcase and was checked in to luggage.
Even if turns out to be a hoax this one time, this *exact* same shit really does happen p frequently (which is why it's not hard to believe) https://t.co/7DgWBh6cEh
