Commenters Correctly Diagnosed a Woman With a Rare Genetic Disorder
This woman posted a photo gallery of her story on Imgur which led to a diagnosis of a genetic disease that affects connective tissues called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). She explains the backstory in the description of the follow up picture post:
Five months ago, I posted "The Story Of A Broken Dancer." In this post, I told the story of how all I've ever wanted was to be a professional dancer, but that countless injuries and unexplained medical issues were coming in between me and my dream. Well, after posting this, hundreds of Imgurians commented on the post and messaged me saying I should look at different conditions or diseases they thought I had, but one that I received overwhelmingly was "Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Hyper Mobility Type III." I looked into it and decided it was worth a shot to get the testing done, and as of this morning, I have been officially confirmed to have EDS.

Someone Used the Name "Racist McShootface" to Troll George Zimmerman's Gun Auction
Yesterday, George Zimmerman announced that he would be auctioning off the infamous gun used in the killing of Trayvon Martin as "a piece of American history". It did not take long for that auction to get pulled but Zimmerman managed to find a different website to host his auction after all.
A troll on the internet wasted no time on vigilante justice though, going by the name of "Racist McShootface" and driving the price of the gun into the millions.

Eventually the troll account was disabled but it was enough to inspire other trolls to carry on his good work. Reportedly, the fake bid made it up to around $65 million. It's unclear if the trolls will ultimately shut down the auction or if it will go to the highest legitimate bidder. The website it is hosted on has made it clear that they do not manage the auctions that users host on their site.
So far the seemingly most legitimate bidder is Brez Morrell according to Gawker, who bid up to $485,000 before "Racist McShootface" derailed the proceedings. Also of note, and not particularly surprising, Brez Morrell's response to trolls was to defend Zimmerman and tell trolls that he (or she) hopes their "children get murdered". Awesome.

Dude Who Woke From a Coma Asking for Taco Bell Finally Gets Taco Bell
Jake Booth was in a coma for 47 days and when he finally woke up he asked for one thing: Taco Bell. For a while that couldn't happen because he had a tracheotomy but now he can eat all the Taco Bell he wants. Jake's family set up a GoFundMe campaign to help pay for the costs of his ongoing recovery.

How a Pizza Delivery Driver Saved the Life of a Regular Customer
The Marion Country Sheriff's department in Oregon shared this story on their Facebook about how the delivery drivers at a local Domino's saved the life of a loyal customer:
On Sunday, May 8th an alert Domino’s delivery driver called the Sheriff’s Office after a regular customer failed to order a pizza from the Salem area company. Tracey Hamblen, an employee at Domino’s on Silverton Road NE, called the Sheriff’s Office after not speaking with the customer in 11 days. Mr. Hamblen had formed a relationship with the victim because of the regular orders and knew he suffered form severe health issues.
When the Sheriff’s Office arrived at the residence in the 4100 block of Penticton Circle NE, they could hear a man calling for help from inside the residence. Deputies forced entry and found Kirk Alexander, age 48, of Salem down and in need of immediate medical attention.
Thanks to the quick actions of Mr. Hamblen, Mr. Alexander is in stable condition at the Salem Hospital. The Sheriff’s Office would like to personally thank Mr. Hamblen for his quick actions and willingness to take time out of his day to care for others.
