Sorry Landscape Warriors, Vertical Video is the Future
Business Insider is making a bold claim: vertical video is king. They have a compelling argument; everything these days is filmed on phones in apps like Snapchat and Vine, which means you're probably holding your phone vertically to film. Furthermore, tons of media is consumed on phones, which you intuitively hold in portrait mode-- don't lie, you don't surf the web with your phone on its side. If you do, dude, get rekt.
Vertical video is a thing now. It's too late to stop it.

Troll Creates Fake Target Customer Service Account, Responds To Gender-Neutral Haters
Because Target can't always reply to their idiotic customers in the most appropriate fashion, one man took the initiative and created a fake customer service account titled "Ask ForHelp" to deliver the some serious social justice. Target Facebook has been flooded with hate after its stores recently made the move toward gender-neutral in-store labeling.
The fake Facebook account was built for success with the bull's-eye profile pic and a fitting name.... The haters weren't ready.

Michigan Athletics' Facebook Pages Get Hacked and It's All About the Booty
A hacker took over the Facebook accounts of the Michigan Wolverines athletics and loaded their feed with nothing but T and A. Both the football and basketball accounts were compromised. Whoever infiltrated the pages (probably some Ohio State fan), decided to transform both accounts into the Internet's newest softcore pr0n site.

Scare Tactic of the Day: Funny or Die Shows What REALLY Happens at Planned Parenthood
Planned Parenthood has had it tough lately. First, some undercover films were released showing some alleged back door selling of fetal tissue, then calling for defunding the organization became a political necessity for candidates seeking the GOP presidential nomination.
The videos, which many see as aggressively edited, were captured by an undercover sting operation by the Center for Medical Progress. They swiftly led to Republicans in the Senate bringing a vote to defund the organization Aug. 3. It failed to pass.
Then, in the crowded, 17-person GOP primary field, the topic of defunding Planned Parenthood in wake of the tapes became something of a bingo free space in currying support from pro-life voters. Candidate Gov. Bobby Jindal even went so far as to approve an executive order to withdraw from the state's contract in funding Louisiana's two Planned Parenthood clinics.
Well, things are about to get even worse with this video, which showcased the true experience had by millions of women who reach out for the provider for help and guidance with reproductive health.
Scathing is one word for it.
Maybe now, the assistance that Planned Parenthood gives can be rightly scrutinized.
