This guy has got to be one of the dumbest cheaters ever! Not that we support cheating of any kind, but the fact that it did not cross this dude's mind at all that syncing his photos with his fiancé's phone would mean that his many photos with another woman would reveal themselves is baffling to us. This proves our firm stance that the only thing dumber than cheating is sloppy cheating.

 

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/MaliciousCompliance subreddit by u/Sereous313, who was working at Best Buy during this entire meltdown. The Redditor came across the photos himself as he was doing his job but tried to signal to the guy that it wasn't a good idea to sync all of them right now. The guy, impatient and snobby, assumed that the Redditor simply didn't want to do his job and insisted that the photos be synced immediately. Cue malicious compliance!

This person who worked at a steak and seafood restaurant had to deal with the crankiest and most entitled of customers. As the OP shared to r/TalesFromYourServer, some people just do not know how to be kind to service workers. 

The writer, u/RedTailFox1957, shared this story from their time as a waiter. They had lots of regulars who were nice, but there was the odd person who would be extra demanding throughout their meal. One story that clearly stuck with the waiter was this one guy they simply called the "grumpy old man" (GOM). He and his wife came in to order some scallops, but the GOM was very, very displeased with his meal. He let out a verbal tirade on this poor waiter — I can't believe the waiter didn't burst into tears right then and there! The other customers actually sided with the OP though, after seeing how terribly the GOM was treating this worker. 

Next, bite into another food story. This guy ordered a sandwich just the way he thought he wanted it, with EXTRA ONION… so the employees just did exactly as he asked.

Stomaching the courage to confront someone way older than you to enforce a rule is hard enough. The fact that this guy continued to refuse to follow the rules and kept smoking anyway says quite a bit about his level of entitlement, his inability to follow the rules, and his condescension (probably as a result of the age dynamic). For me, this is not about the smoking. It's about this guy's refusal to take the Redditor seriously and his active choice to give her a hard time.

New internet rule just dropped: If you have to ask if you were the Karen in a situation, you definitely were. This particular woman was even being a Karen at the "happiest place on Earth," Disney!

Jess has received tons of notoriety from his deer keg. With a spout for a rear end, this deer is certainly the talk of the town and has quickly become a statement piece at every event. Who knew that a simple woodland deer would age into what can only be described as a small town novelty hero. It really makes you wonder, does beer taste better when it comes from somewhere special? According to Jess and his tailgating buddies, the beer that flows through the deer tastes almost as sweet as an MSU victory.

Here's how it all went down. Karen asked for two quesadillas that were gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, basically all the things. Of course, we sympathize with folks who have dietary restrictions; that's not the issue here. The issue was that the Redditor anticipated that if they rang up the order as two quesadillas, it would still be $24 despite the missing ingredients. They tried to help the customer out by asking if she wanted a lettuce wrap instead or something else that would be more bang for her buck, so to speak. Nope! She was insistent that she wanted the two quesadillas her way and was particularly rude about it. So you can imagine her shock when she saw that the price hadn't changed. Our opinion? This was 100% picky Karen's fault.

When renting or even owning property on of the biggest nightmares is a fire. That is why there are fire safety laws, especially in renting property for everyone's safety. However, in big cities, such as New York, it is easy to fly under the radar and get away with fire hazards. It doesn't seem like a big deal in the moment if there is a couple of bikes blocking the fire exit, or the smoke detecter doesn't work, but if an emergency happens those things become big problems. So as a tenant, for your safety and the safety of everyone else in the building, it is important to report fire hazards (or clear them up yourself if possible) when you see them. 

That is exactly what the tenants of this NYC apartment building had been doing for months to no avail. One of the tenants seemed to be running some shady things in his apartment. The main concern, however, were the many e-bikes they had piled up in the hallway outside of their apartment. E-bike batteries, especially off-market brands, are prone to catching fire very often. It has been a huge problem in the e-bike industry and that is why they have rules surrounding them. 

So the tenants reported this obvious fire hazard over and over again. Not only to the super, but to the landlord, the police and fire department, and even city officials. One summons was sent, but no further action was ever taken. One woman named Claire decided enough was enough and she didn't want to put her life at risk, so she moved out in early January. About a month later, the place indeed catches on fire and she posts about it on her TikTok. 

She rightfully is frustrated and upset because she and the other tenants did everything they could to try and prevent this fire from happening, but they were met with no help. Now the entire 5th floor has been turned to ashes and she is wondering what actions she should next. Viewers leave comments applauding her for following her guts and doing everything she could and also giving her legal advice for what to do next.

Personally, I have always felt that there is a bizarre correlation between toxic masculinity and one's preference for spiciness. You have to occasionally question why someone wants to order the spiciest thing on the planet. Is it just to prove some point or to flaunt your tolerance? No one cares, dude! I mean, at a certain point, you're not even enjoying the actual taste because your tongue is literally numb.

If you feel like you're being cheated by a company's messed up policy, make things harder for them! This thread, which was posted to Reddit's r/MaliciousCompliance subreddit by u/dawkc, is further proof of that fact.

 

This restaurant manager discovered a missing order of shrimp, but when he called the vendor to see if he could get credit, they enforced a new policy stating that they owed him nothing because he had already signed the delivery form when the truck driver arrived. Like any good tale of malicious compliance, the Redditor decided to be difficult by following the policy carefully. When the next delivery came, he refused to sign the form until after he made sure that all the items were counted. This took an hour and a half and screwed up the vendor's delivery schedule for the rest of the day. The real victim of this story is the truck driver who was forced to wait 90 minutes. Sorry to this man!

Gasp's team was made up of a lot of smokers who seemed to have an infinite amount of smoke breaks that they were allowed during the day. Gasp obviously thought that it was simply an unspoken rule that smokers could always take a break if they wanted a smoke (and their work was done), so he started taking more smoking breaks throughout the day. After two years of taking his liberties with his smoking breaks, the hammer of justice came down on Gasp… Hard. 

He was fired for "time theft" because of his excessive smoke breaks. 

Gasp of course was shocked that the HR team and loss prevention had been monitoring his breaks without saying a word. He would have been happy to recoup the loss and pay the company back for the lost time, but they wouldn't have it. It seemed as though the company was attempting to get rid of him for other reasons. Since the evidence against his excessive smoking breaks was indisputable, that was the route the company took to get rid of Gasp as an employee. 

What's worse is that Gasp never had any negative performance reviews, never received a warning for his actions, and most importantly, was simply doing what everyone else did when their job was complete. Sometimes companies just use lame excuses to get their agendas accomplished, no matter who gets smoked in the end.

Parking permits: the bane of many people's existence, especially this unfortunate nurse. 

After moving to a new place, this person received two parking passes, one for a covered car, one for an uncovered vehicle. "However, the rules do not state which permit is for which parking," the OP wrote, and that's where the strange cirucumstances began with the person's HOA. While strolling the neighborhood, the OP saw a mix of cars marked with green or red passes — but also a lot of cars that were unmarked altogether. 

That must've been so confusing as a new person to the neighborhood, and the OP can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone. Because the OP claims their car is being targeted by the HOA. It was nearly taken twice! The OP feels that they're being unfairly targeted when the parking situation is so scattered in the neighborhood. The OP also took to the comments to answer questions, as well as respond to the legal advice people gave.

Tipping culture in America is essential to keeping the service industry afloat. With most servers clocking in at minimum wage, tips are pretty much the main way that they earn their living. Not only that, but servers, especially bartenders, have to put up with a lot of entitled customers who thrive on being doted on and babied by their waitstaff and if you've ever worked in the service industry, you probably know, that guests who are rich and famous are usually also the worst. 

One witty bartender, a Redditor named u/Sssnappy, got stuck serving the private table of an entitled celebrity one night and epically pwned the guy after he was acting like a complete jerk. Apparently he was the lead singer of a band that was in town playing a show, but our Snappy bartender had no clue who he was, which definitely offended the celeb. He proceeded to badger her for more and more drinks, refusing to tip and acting like a buffoon. Finally she started to ignore his table, hoping that he would get the hint that she wasn't going to bend over backwards for him just because he's famous. Eventually he hollered at her, "We need drinks!" to which she replied, "And I need tips!". The hot shot celebrity got snippy and asked if she knew who he was, puffing his chest up in the way that snarky celebs tend to do when their ego is bruised. He threw a balled up $5 on her cocktail tray and said, "NOW can we have drinks?"

After looking closely at the pathetic tip, she realized the bill was autographed. Greaaaaat. However, her coworkers were in disbelief, fan-girling over the autograph and offering to buy it off of her. Snappy sold the autographed bill to one of her coworkers for $50 then went to thank the celebrity in her section for the $50 tip. 

Confused, the celeb said, "I gave you a 50?" and she smiled snarkily and said, "Nope, that's what the other bartender paid me for your 5!"

The celebrity immediately quirked a grin and nodded his head. "I like you", he said. By the end of the night, Snappy earned a $500 tip on $90-worth of drinks, just because she was the only server in the room with enough gaul to stick it to the man and call out the entitlement of this not-even-that-famous celebrity.
