Anthony refused to take it down, not only because it wasn't at all scandalous, but also because this was his own home after all. This guy refuses to take any responsibility for his actions. That much is clear based on this thread, which was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit. 

 

The first red flag in his post comes in the second sentence when he admitted to cheating on his wife and fathering another child as a result but blamed the encounter entirely on alcohol. 16 years later, although his wife has forgiven him, she still refuses to associate with her husband's daughter in any way. This is where she is the culprit too. Clearly, there are unresolved problems within their marriage because the wife is placing the blame on the wrong person. Meanwhile, the Redditor is neglecting his daughter and constantly giving her the short end of the stick in order to keep his wife happy. 'Ok, boss': Supervisor mandates no overtime but also mandates checking emails at home, guy charges it as overtime

Which is it? No overtime… or checking emails at home? You can't have both. Too many employers these days expect their employees to be always available —without receiving compensation for it. 

Anyone who has worked retail, or in a waged position, has had an employer who has made it as difficult as possible to claim overtime. The store closes at 6:30 pm, and you're only contracted for those hours. So in an inexplicably non-existent amount of time, you have to manage to round up all the customers, get them out of the premises, pack everything inside, count the till, get the staff out the door, and access the safe. This frequently takes over 10-15 minutes, but you'd better not dare claim overtime for it. The repeated grief you've received for previously claiming it has made the company's position perfectly clear.

This low-grade wage theft multiplies when you consider that 15 minutes a day is over an hour of paid labor a week, and that's without considering all the missed breaks.

So, when this employee was faced with the conundrum of needing to be available to check their email after hours, they considered themselves to have been granted an exception to the previous "no overtime" ruling. This would have disastrous consequences for their supervisor.

College Student Told His Essay Was Too Short, Gets Revenge By Writing Extra Long Paper Next and Getting It Published

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/MaliciousCompliance subreddit by u/Wild_Butterscotch977, who was an art history major in college and who was ever-so-slightly peeved when he received an A- simply because his paper was on the lower end of the assigned page range. However, once the Redditor confronted the professor, it became clear that the page length was the only reason and the paper itself was deserving of an A.

 

Cue malicious compliance! For the next paper, the original poster ensured that it was almost double the length of the assigned page minimum. Not only did this paper earn the A grade the Redditor clearly wanted, but also he ended up submitting the piece to a university journal for publication and it was ultimately accepted. Entitled Couple Tricks Guy Into Trading for Worse Plane Seat, He Ends up With a Better Seat

If you needed proof that karma can act in instantaneous ways— this is it. 

There's nothing worse on this earth than someone who is willing to nefariously take advantage of other people's inclination toward goodwill in order to further themselves. These grifters have no conscience, stop at nothing, and are a parasite to society. Luckily, they also sometimes also are served the just desserts that their actions have wrought. 

When this traveler happened across a couple on his flight, they kindly requested that he swap seats with the woman so that the couple could sit together. Seeing as she was also in another aisle seat, the traveler agreed, thinking it would be a win-win.

As soon as he sat in his new aisle seat, the couple dropped the revelation on him that his new seat was actually the adjacent middle seat. The traveler was flummoxed, but the situation quickly went from bad to fantastic when the doors closed, and the seats next to him remained empty; he had the entire row to himself!
