Insane Manager Tells Mother She Can't Miss Work to Stay With Her Dying Child, Gets Fired

This viral Facebook post was shared originally by a mother who was distressed over her manager's response to her notification that she would be missing work due to a tragic family emergency. The mother's child was in the hospital and on life support but the manager wasn't having any of it. The manager referred to it as more "drama" and told the mother that she was quitting her job if she didn't come in. 

Screenshots of the viral Facebook post were posted to the r/antiwork subreddit, where they were trending yesterday as one of the hottest posts on the popular subreddit. This is just one of many posts on the quickly growing sub that feature horrible bosses. 

Commenters found sources that say the manager was fired shortly after this first went viral.

This pastry chef's entitled pregnant girlfriend is carrying his child and her rampage through his shop with her friends has left him out thousands of dollars of product.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/TIFU subreddit by Redditor u/098765439, who shared their story with the title "TIFU by leaving a massive order alone with my now ex and her 14 friends." You can already see right away where this is going and, in a post where you can feel their seething rage in every word, they dug into the thick of things.

It all started when his now-ex discovered that she was pregnant. She began planning parties with her friends in her boyfriend's home, which he also uses to produce pastries to cater for weddings. He estimates these parties have grown to include anywhere from 15-20 people.

"So recently I got 2 massive orders for pastries for 2 weddings and a few other parties, I had spent 1 week working with my team on the orders as it was 75-100 per item." writes u/098765439. "Well, we finished yesterday and I and the team decided to go to the movies and just relax... big mistake. Apparently, my now ex had a party planned... without asking me... in the home, I pay for."

Commenters were outraged at the pregnant ex's behavior and at those who were telling the poster that they were in the wrong for kicking his now-ex out of his home.

A new and naive teacher started a job at an elementary school and missed all of the red flags that quickly started appearing. They found themselves in the crosshairs of the principal of the school and an attempt to get the teacher fired would soon lead to all out warfare.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/prorevenge subreddit by a since-deleted user. It was posted to the popular sub with the title "My principal tried to get me fired so I got her fired from the district." and earned 14.8k upvotes at the time of its posting.

Commenters questioned the authenticity of the story in the comments, which may have been what led the user to delete their account.

"Yeah IDK it sounded believable till the end," said memeoi. "Then the comic book stuff happened which sounds like a movie."
