Dude Finds Dumb Answer to Dumber Conspiracy Theory

William Mullally cracked this stupid covid conspiracy theory wide open when he investigated what that little thing in the background could have been. The answer was hard to guess. Even though they're usually stupid, people have their favorite conspiracy theories about things like Justin Trudeau as Castro's son or that the world actually ended in 2012.

Tumblr Thread: Dude Actually Having Fun In an Old Picture

As ridiculously out of place as it seems, this picture is actually confirmed by the American Museum of Natural History as being totally legit. In a world where every single photo of old-timey people is dour as hell, it makes sense to actually have fun with it. The saddest thing is that, with the photo being about 120 years old, we don't get to talk to this guy. For more interesting history stuff, here's a Tumblr Thread that makes history fun.

Text - He has a nice face fearwax No but the history behind this picture is really interesting The reason that everyone always looked miserable in old photos wasn't that they took too long to take. Once photography became widespread it took only seconds to take a picture. It was because getting your photo taken was treated the same as getting your portrait painted. A very serious occasion meant so thst your descendants would know that ypu existed and what you looked like. But one time some Briti

Restaurant Owner Scams People For Good Google Reviews

This restaurant swung real low with their approach toward garnering "positive feedback" from customers. They'd basically get potential hires to write up BS reviews, hyping up the owner's various establishments. Well, that certainly backfired on the crazy owner when it was all said and done.

1.

Text - r/ProRevenge Join u/Takemetothedumpster • 1d 1 Restaurant scams me for fake google reviews, I burn their google reviews page/ reputation to the ground and get the media to cover it. Hi folks, First post here, thought it would definitely fit.

2.

Text - So about a month ago I applied for a sushi restaurant called Yoshi's and I got a text from their 'hiring manager,' and we chatted about my availability, location, start date, yada yada. She then asked me to write a 'review' of general japanese food to show I knew what I was talking about and could upsell customers. Fine, I write a long review and sent it to her. She then sends my a tinylink url and tells me to post it there before I would be invited for an interview. I click it and what d

Text - Being unemployed, I had some time on my hands so I screenshotted our convo and posted it all over social media. They wen't from 3.4 to 1.2 in a few hours with more than 70 new reviews about their shitty behavior. I was satisfied with that, and a report to the attorney general here. But then I noticed, the owner had managed to get all the reviews removed, so at that point I went full nuclear.

4.

Text - I contacted every media outlet, reported them to every oversight board, emailed corporate about it, and reported them to google. I managed to get one of our local news outlets to cover it, and google ended up removing all of their reviews all together. Scam me and countless others during a global pandemic? I ruin your business's reputation for your shitty behavior.

Guy Explains Stock Market Crash In Simple Terms

The devil is in the details here. Just accurate enough to be absolutely terrifying.

Text - •.. 5 Someone explain to me the Stock Market, Wall Street, the Dow, and Nasdaq. But do it like l'm a 5 year old. They don't teach me this in teacher school. O Like Comment I will attempt this 5h Like Reply Okay, so imagine that you have a lemonade stand. You've managed to generate a bunch of interest in your lemonade, but you want more $$$ to open one on Birch street 4h Like Reply

2.

Text - So you talk to the Lemonade Council, which is not a government thing, and they evaluate how much your lemonade stand is worth. So now you want to get $$$ for your expansion, but you have to pay loans back and banks suck. So, you offer stocks. You say "The lemonade council has valued my lemonade at $5,000. You give me $500, and I will give you 1/10th of my company." Then you hold the rest of the stocks yourself (I think?) You give out these stocks like trading cards. Once they leave your h

Text - remember that something had to do with something called "orange juice futures". Trading futures is basically like if you agreed to sell someone a pitcher of lemonade for $4 next year no matter what, and gave out a trading card that was a voucher for that. 4h Like Reply If the value of lemonade goes up, it's super cool to buy a cheap pitcher for $4. If it goes down, you lost money on your futures trade.

5.

Text - So there's a bunch of different flavors of lemonade and trading cards, and everyone is doing a lot of kinds of different trades, and betting on other people's bets, and there's a lot of weird recursion and honestly it started out as a good idea but we lost track of shit and now there's probably like a trillion dollars in imaginary money that no one knows where it came from. 4h Like Reply

It's an average of a lot of big businesses that is used as a sort of a market indicator. The DOW goes down when the relative value of the trading cards of each of the lemonade stands it tracks loses value. The reverse is true when the value of the t

Most Passive Aggressive Things People Have Seen

Passive aggressiveness is the worst. People just bottle up all that aggression and frustration, instead of letting it out in some healthy conversational discourse, and instead go about "avoiding the conflict" by creating tense and uncomfortable environments. These particular cases of passive aggression might just bring your blood to a boil. The passive aggressive roommate scenarios, especially.

After she told me I started looking for it and surely enough, any time someone would turn around she'd crunch her face up into and anus shape and just look at that p
