People are sharing the weirdest and most outlandish things they believed as children. It's no surprise that our minds are ripe for hatching up all kinds of irrational and creative beliefs, while we're kids. Whether it's something fun like believing in a Cheerios Bee, or maybe something more sinister like believing in a scary alien creature that lives in the vents in your house; kids really dig deep for what they believe could be a real thing.

Ah, yes, the weird world of buying and selling secondhand items. Take for instance, that video game that looks like it was Glad wrapped. Not exactly what someone has in mind when they think they're buying a new and unopened video game. People are bound to slap prices, and sometimes insane ones, on just about anything they can find lying around the house. That broken pencil, or rock you just pulled out of your shoe, or beard trimmings? Maybe it's worth a couple hundred bucks if you're willing to shed rationality and all common sense.

Whether it's by design, some weird implication, or just a chimp going crazy on live television, people remember some of the stranger, creepier and more messed up points from their favorite TV shows as kids. Here are some funny moments of cartoon logicabout the times that make less sense.

Assigning silly identities and voices to those various thought streams that might pop up as invasive, and with a dark tone around them, can be helpful in riding out the process back toward peace. If you're able to step outside the thought when it pops up, recognize it as that, and not identify with the thought, it can almost end up being a game of sorts. Is the conspiracy theorist with the panicked strain piping up again from the back corridors of your mind? Maybe.

This bride is on one. Seriously. It looks like she's refusing to cancel the wedding in light of the worldwide pandemic that is the Coronavirus. On top of that, she asks guests to take Ubers, so that they can avoid the "quarantine police." Can't make this up.

So, the story on this one goes that an (awesome) girlfriend planned a big "Nailed It" themed, surprised birthday party for her boyfriend. Apparently, upon receiving this kind and loving gesture, the dude proceeded to break down and dissolve into a puddle of tears, because he wanted other people around to remember him. Awesome girlfriend asked the folks of Reddit whether or not she was in the wrong, and I mean, based off what we know, how could she be?

If you're gonna be really serious to your server and demand that they bring you a beer with every passing, then get ready for your wallet to explode. It's hard to tell what this guy's goal was, but his words were the nails in the coffin. The service industry is at times lawless and full of characters, so you get a lot out of tales from servers who have seen it all.

This family was in for a serious wakeup call after ordering the same meal repeatedly, assuming that they'd only be charged for the meal once. Whoops. That is not how it works. Not how it works at all. Actually, you're expected to pay for the meal each time you order it. Amazing.

It was the early 2000s. Slime was king, ska music was exciting and ketchup didn't have to be red anymore. It really brings us back.

This parent unknowingly raised some kind of master manipulator. Yes, it'd seem that the clever kid was playing a game of their own, and intentionally not going to the bathroom all the way, to collect more candy than normal. Kind of brilliant.

There's nothing quite like the satisfaction of catching someone red handed, and deeply humiliating or inconveniencing them in the process. We've seen a guy get satisfying padlock revenge on gym thief as well as habanero cake revenge on food stealing roommates. This one, however, uses fear.

Ah, yes, thank you to Ryan Reynolds for tapping into his far reaching platform to use it to accomplish good, and to spread awareness. He's started up something of a movement, where celebs nominate other celebs and friends to spread the message about staying home and staying safe during the Coronavirus. The more awareness we can spread to folks during these times, the better.

No matter how hard we try, we'll never free ourselves from failures and mistakes that were someone's one job. Luckily, they're at least fun to see, and they make us better at our own jobs, since we don't want to look stupid. Here are some more design fails that were someone's one job.

In this weirdly wholesome story, a woman dropped her dog off at a dog friendly office, and her dog was so nice that the employees didn't bother to correct her. You could also say "years ago, this person operated an illegal dog sitting business" but where's the fun in that. For some wholesome dogness, here are tired dogs in awkward sleeping positions.

We love a good old clever comeback. You know, when someone drops the kind of retort that the person on the receiving end of it, never saw coming. From there, a sweet silence and deep appreciation might ensue. Sometimes folks assemble words in such a way with just the kind of impeccable timing that the comeback is a true display of mastery. These folks certainly nailed it.

Yay, more Tumblr gems. Here we are again with Tumblr doing what it does best: running the numbers on things we'd never expect to see someone making calculations for. Yes, we're talking about how it turns out that Ash Ketchum's rocking some kind of superhuman strength. Apparently as a 10-year-old, the kid is able to toss a log that weighs over 1,000 pounds. Okay, Ash. I see you.
