The emotional manipulation and toxic conditioning was present from the get-go with this "work opportunity." As it turns out, this employee found themselves in the middle of what sounds like a shady MLM ran by an emotionally manipulative cult leader boss with an affinity for using people to further their own gain, while selling them on the idea that it's for the collective good. Apparently this documentary helped the employee piece the disorienting and ultimately deceptive picture together.
