This is Wally Backman, from the documentary "Playing for Peanuts." After his player is ejected, Wally comes out to demand a reason. In the end he threw 22 bats and a bucket of balls onto the field.

When Twitter user @annieedagrannie, found herself in the middle of crying in the bathroom, her little brother surprised her with a series of emotionally supportive and loving notes. Sometimes, your siblings just step up when you need it the most and aren't ready for it at all.

Now she is one okay boomer. This bad lady will set you back over a grand, but it's worth it for, uh, whatever you get out of it. Nursing training, right. If there were any more funny amazon reviews for this realistic geriatric nursing doll, we'd have found them.

Not everyone has a very good brain. Some people have decent ones, but they're not exactly working for them all the time. We live in a world where people can sort of believe whatever they want, and sometimes people have a personal resistance to wanting to learn, which leads to all of us hearing some really dumb things.

As 2019 comes to a close, it's only right to remember this year's most brutal cases of revenge. Maybe it was a ruthless, calculated revenge taken upon an unfaithful partner, or perhaps an entitled jerk who just had it coming. If there's one thing we're sure of, it's that a true nuclear revenge leaves no stones unturned, and results in utter destruction for whatever unfortunate soul is on the receiving end of it.

Oh, Scottish Twitter. You strange and fiery, and ridiculous land filled to the brim with bits of comedy gold. We can't necessarily say that we always understand what those ol Scots are talking about on the Twitter, but it sure is entertaining nonetheless!

If there's one thing we know for sure, it's that the wonderfully creative minds of the Tumblr community never leave us disappointed. These comedy gems won't fail to get a laugh or two out of you.

This rude startup company has take it upon themselves to design toilets intentionally tilted to such an angle, that workers won't want to sit on the toilet for longer than five minutes. Apparently nothing is sacred after all. Is it really any surprise that companies might want to aggressively attack those areas of productivity in the workforce, that they see as coming up short? Unfortunately, no, it's not.

It can be hard to prove to someone that you just made a simple human error, especially when they're a stranger in line at the store. With this guy, he had a winning strategy for showing this other guy that he didn't see him. Sometimes fellow customers aren't so understanding.

This artist got a pretty flippin' stupid offer from a friend's husband: getting to work in exchange for also having to watch his kids. It's crazy that there are people who think like this. However, they often don't get what they want, like this artist who trolled people asking for free art or this lying producer who got taken down for offering a no-pay gig.

This entitled neighbor had it coming their way after they threatened a family and their dogs over some noise being made, at a perfectly legal hour! The real problem here was if the neighbor really had such a problem with dogs parking, he shouldn't have moved into a dog-friendly apartment in the first place! You set yourself up for the meltdown, man.

We feel dumb admitting this, but we've definitely had this question too. Turns out there's a few reasons people don't frequently die in nuclear explosions every time someone tries to prepare a salad. For another interesting thing regarding the physics of nuclear explosions, here's the time tumblr uncovered the legend of the fastest manhole cover ever.

This waitress managed to get back at her mean boss lady in quite the satisfying way. The saying "kill em with kindness" has never rang more true. In this case, the mean boss lady won't give the waitress her birthday off from work. So, after doing something totally normal like working on trading shifts around she managed to piss off the boss so much that she gets called out for being rude.
From there, she decides to quit at the end of the season, but commits herself to being nice as possible to everyone around her. She ends up winning over the hearts of all her co-workers, so much that they quit with her!

Apparently "kick me" signs are out and there's a new thing to put on someone's back before they absent-mindedly walk through a live news report.

Someone on AskReddit asked for people to share their weirdest experiences with co-workers. Everyone has that "one person" at work that just drives everyone else insane, and/or pulls the weirdest stunts. These people are really out there.

Some of the greatest innovations at work come from human laziness. It's just not a good idea to work extra hard when you can think of a way to do the same work more efficiently. That said, don't do too good of a job or your boss might find out that you don't need to work there anymore. One or two of these definitely backfired. And a few definitely weren't as smart as the person first thought.

If you're just a horrible adult who needs pictures of Christmas morning to revitalize your holiday spirit, then here you go. If your family sucked at Christmas and you just wanna hate on all these kids that got what they wanted, you're free to do that too. Here's some more nostalgia for 80s and 90s kids. Going back further, here are some horrifically weird old-timey Christmas cards.

Somewhere along the way, classic idioms and sayings with two parts got shortened to the first one, and everyone's just been using them wrong for a while. Tumblr gets itself into spirals of informative weirdness, like this Tumblr thread that actually makes history fun.

This bridezilla expected people to accept her payment in the form of "Instagram exposure." The real catch with that expectation is that she didn't even have an Instagram yet. What an all around cringeworthy rollercoaster from start to finish.

As far as dramatic feuds go in the art world, this takes the cake. Sounds like Anish Kapoor was one selfish prick. Thankfully, the art world had a hero of the people around like Stuart Semple who just wanted to give the people access to more pretty colors. So good on Semple, and his epic levels of pettiness to take a mega rich prick like Kapoor down.

For whatever reason, almost every printing policy is stupid. Whether you work somewhere with one, or go to school, there's always some sort of wast-of-money plan that never seems to work out in your favor. There's even another dude who complied with his school's unfair printing fee by using every printer at once.

We're back at it again with a fresh and fiery collection of rare insults that are as creative as they are brutal. These people didn't pull any punches at all when it came to utterly destroying other folks online. Sometimes people just put those words together in such a way, that the only outcome for the person on the other end of it is complete destruction.

As long as people keep making things, the world will have more and more stupid design failures that need some help. We have no way of knowing if these folks were trying their best, but however hard they tried, their attempts hit the ground with the sound of failure.
