For some crazy roommate stories, here's times people discovered their roommate was a psycho, and here's a guy who battled his terrible subletter who tried to pin him with damages.

Someone on AskReddit asked for people to share why they felt compelled to quit the job interview process. Sometimes the red flags are just too bright and numerous to ignore during the job interview process.

Twitter user @TheWrongNoel, shared a frustrating Twitter thread that explains why many hopeful job applicants might never actually get a foot in the door for a job interview in the first place. It might be time to shake things up when it comes to the hiring process. Cause by the sounds of this, many companies are missing out on promising job applicants.

The Northumberland Heath Police were the subject of sharp tongues and verbal jabs after confiscating what looks to be like a prop sword for a play and taking it way too seriously. Commenters were brutal, as they usually are when it comes to roasting ancient weaponry, like when Facebook users roasted this guy's ancient gun into the last century.

News people have a ton of cues and time spent on live TV, so they're routinely guilty of on-air mistakes. In this case, that mistake was the classic "I so pale."

Correction and clarification here, he didn't go on a killing rampage or really terrorize the soviets, but our boy did do the rest of that shit. According to Wikipedia, Aimo Koivunen found it too difficult to undo one tablet with his gloves, so he just took them all. Bad idea. The resulting few weeks are inadvisable for any human being to put themselves through. And while none of this is advisable or good, it is really damn interesting. Tumblr has a way of making history fun.

This entitled classmate had the audacity to steal her friend's notes without asking, and then put up a BS excuse about them not needing the notes. If your reason for stealing someone else's hard-earned work is rooted in arguing that they don't need what they worked for, you've already lost. From there, the revenge was simple, brutal, and brilliant. They put together some fake notes, and the classmate ended up having to repeat the year.

Tumblr can get, shall we say, overly specific. The nature of the site, and the people on it, can lead to some deep rabbit holes, like this tumblr users getting schooled on physics and car safety, or really specific and fun history. Anyway, this cranberry bog discussion led to a story about the not-so-obvious spider consequences of working in a flooded bog full of swimming spiders.

This guy unknowingly caffeinated his way into the 5th dimension. Let this serve as a cautionary tale that you've gotta be extra careful with that Cuban espresso. It is not a joke. Sounds like he basically consumed 12 cups of coffee in the matter of 5 minutes. At that point, you better just buckle up and try to enjoy the ride. Thankfully, it would seem he stayed safe.

The general themes here seem to be: bring up something you have in common, actually listen to them, compliment them, talk about shared interests, give them food and offer to show them pictures of animals. Also don't ask them where they live right off the bat. Here are some pickup lines that actually worked for people.

What we have here is a clear and quick story on why it can prove to be a terrible (or amazing) idea to "overshare" on social media. While they might see all the drinks as a problem, others might be more parched, and utterly stoked that you've got people storming you with rounds of drinks and peas. Can't forget the peas.

This manager went and tried to make an example out of an employee by bringing their report to the attention of everyone else in the office. Thing is, they weren't ready for the employee to fight back. And when they did, and ultimately told the manager how they'd been copy-pasting the same thing for two months. Sh*t really hit the fan. You know the revenge was real brutal when the manager ends up quitting.

Someone on AskReddit asked for people to share their experiences with commercials that were so bad, they ultimately deterred interest in people giving companies any business. Breaking out the loud, squeaking tires on a commercial is no way to go about winning over the hearts of someone. Or, showing the same commercial over and over again, like they forgot about it when they saw the commercial a mere few minutes ago.
